Sexual rights charter
The Sexual Rights Charter is a resource for the public, health and social care professionals, community and voluntary workforce, researchers, educators, and policy-makers. It supports conversations about ageing and sexuality to dispel the myths and tackle the taboos that surround this topic.
It has been designed to help people get the support they need and to guide services on how to provide that support.
The Charter is double-sided, scroll through the pdf below to see the text:
You can also watch a short video about why we created the Charter UK’s first Sexual Rights Charter launched to tackle age discrimination. Full details about the Charter resources can be found on the agesexandrights website.
By incorporating the Charter into our work and communities, we will make a difference to the lives of people as they age by recognising sexual agency, respecting diversity, and tackling ageism.
